New “Resources” Webpage Puts Answers at Your Fingertips
We get it – you’re busier than you’ve ever been. Clients are calling, deadlines are looming, reports are due. You need information – fast. What’s the difference between BASE-8 and BASE-12? Why can’t I use the same cable in London that I used in New York City? And where the heck did I put the part numbers for those patch cords?
The team at Nexans Data Center Solutions is doing our best to put that information at your fingertips. That’s why we created a new “Resources” page on our website, www.nexans.com/datacenters. We’re loading it up with everything we think you might need to do your job better and more efficiently.
And don’t worry – this is not one of those sites that’s simply an unending list of pdf files in no particular order. We’re designing the site to be clean, easy-to-read, and organized around the topics we think you’ll find most important:
- Catalogs, available for download or online viewing, including individual products like patch panels or preterm assemblies
- Installation instructions for a wide range of Nexans products
- FAQs, including our “2-Minute Tech Brief” series, a collection of short explanations to some of the terms and practices related to the data center industry
- Online tools, like our “Own the Link” calculator, which compares the cost of various optical links (see story in this issue), the Fiber Assembly Configurator, and the FibreRoute Planner.
The Resources page will always get better, especially with your help. If there are any topics you want us to address, just give us a call (Toll Free in the U.S. at 844-655-6500 or +1-919-617-6500). Or you can always email us or connect with us through Twitter or LinkedIn.
And while you’re at our site, be sure to check out our complete portfolio of physical layer infrastructure products available for worldwide delivery, and subscribe to our blog for the very latest news on how we can help you grow your hyperscale data center.
